proceed to step d below.
Unsolder and clearly tag all interconnecting leads from ter-
minals around the periphery of the board.
e. Remove printed circuit board and retain insulation material
to be used when board is replaced.

Replacement of the printed circuit board assembly is
essentially the reverse of the removal procedure.
Be sure all inter-
connecting leads are connected to the proper terminals on the board
and that the insulation material is placed between the board and
chassis end plate.
REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF TOP PANEL.
Removal of the top panel provides access to remove, service, or
replace parts mounted on the tape transport mechanical chassis.
Remove top panel as follows:
